This project involved the delivery of a new film studio, with involvement from feasibility through planning consent and detailed design stages.

The scope included enabling works, pavement construction detailing, concrete jointing, setting out, and drainage design, leading to the development of comprehensive ground and drainage models for the site.

The drainage strategy was developed in MicroDrainage and subsequently imported into Civil 3D, where it was modelled as a coordinated pipe network and integrated with proposed drainage features, service ducts, and chambers.

A proposed surface model was produced and tied into the topographical survey to define drainage falls and inform the placement of surface water features. Setting out drawings were prepared from the proposed surface model, including coordinate tables linking key points to their geographical locations.
