This project involved the redevelopment of an existing waste recycling facility, covering both construction-stage support and elements of detailed design.
The scope included enabling works, pavement construction detailing, concrete jointing, setting out, and drainage design. A comprehensive ground and drainage model was developed, with the drainage strategy produced in MicroDrainage and subsequently imported into Civil 3D as a coordinated pipe network, integrating with proposed drainage features, service ducts, and chambers.
A proposed surface model was generated and tied into the existing topographical survey to define drainage falls and inform the placement of surface water features. Setting out drawings were produced from the proposed surface model, including coordinate tables linking key points to their geographical locations.
